The next month or so went by really fast, kind of like a blur really. After he asked me to be his girlfriend my first question was, so whats going to be new, because I kind of thought I already was! haha. He came up with the idea to do things together that we would have already been doing separate, so we started going to church together. Every other week I would go to his ward and he would go to mine. He is also the FHE co-chair in his ward, and he needs to be at his wards FHE every week. This was one of my favorite things, because we would be around all these people he knows and he would say, "Have you met my girlfriend, Tara?" Man... did I love that title! I was his girlfriend! And he wasn't even embarrassed to tell the whole world. Or at least his whole ward! Sometimes he would put his arm around me in church and I would smile bigger than anyone in the whole church building. I loved being with him like this.
The dating started to change a little bit, instead of me waiting for him to ask me on a date, I knew that we would be together. We had a pretty regular pattern of Monday FHE, Saturday Dates, and Sunday Church. The weekends were the best, but then I had to wait all week to see him. But with his school schedule and my work schedule thats all we could figure out. Dates were a lot more chill, but I still loved them. I got to know his family a lot better because we spent more time with them. I went to his sisters wedding with him and that was a lot of fun! We talked on the phone almost every day! He was already my favorite part of the day, but it was getting to the point where he wasn't just a favorite part, but a necessary part. I couldn't imagine a day without him. I was getting serious fast.
I was in love, but I knew I couldn't say it first... but I didn't mind, because watching him fall in love with me was just about the best joy there ever was!
